Introduction
1.1
Overview
The
TLD GW842R is an Analogue Telephone Adaptor (ATA) that enables
an analog telephone to make voice / fax calls via the emerging
VoIP network. It is designed to support the two most widely
used Open VoIP Standards (H.323 and SIP). This allows the TLD
GW842R to interoperate seamlessly with softswitches or IP PBXs
made by various vendors. Its high performance but low cost
design offers toll quality voice, flexible networking, and
feature-rich call functions.

1.6 Appearance

The
TLD GW842R has
Four FXS port (Phone)
or 8 fxs ports,
two Ethernet ports (LAN and PC), Power Input.
1)
L4/L3/L2/L1
This
port is called FXS port. Use a standard telephone wire with
RJ-11 plugs to connect this port to an analog telephone. Do not
connect this port to a POTS line since it may cause damages to
the ATA.
2)
LAN
Use
the Ethernet cable provided to connect this port to a network
device for internet / network access.
3)
PC
Connect to a PC or laptop computer
4)
POWER DC24V/500mA
Use
the Adapter provided to connect power to this port.

Installation
2.1
Setting up the ATA

Please follow the connection diagram shown above to setup the
TLD GW842R.
a)
Connect a regular analog telephone to the
L1/L2/L3/L4
port.
b)
Insert the Ethernet cable into the LAN port and connect
the other end of the Ethernet cable to an Ethernet port of a
network device (Router / Switch / Modem).
c)
Connect your PC or laptop computer to the PC port
(optional).
d)
Plug the AC Power Adapter provide to the DC jack and then
the other end to a AC power source.
Network
In
Disconnecting is very rare when making calls over internet.
So with
our D-Com device, that:
1,
multinational corporations can set up their telecom network,
which is free of charge for phone and faxing with their own
network.
2, call
to PSTN phones and send faxes。It can also connected to a phone
exchange, then can have up to 8 lines with 8 difference billing
accounts or one billing account, at the option of the users.
3,
answering phone display at the one who is being called, so that
when they call back, they will know which number to call you。All
VOIP phone has no number now, so when you make a out-bound call,
your number is hidden, and if the other side wants to call you
back, they have no idea where to call you, but with our D-Com
device, settings can be made to have your mobile phone number or
your PSTN phone number to be as your caller ID to be displayed
the one who is being called as if they think you are calling
from your mobile phone or PSTN phone.
4, call
diverting: so even if you are traveling abroad, you will never
miss any of your calls, as it can be diverted to be answered to
your any other phone that is being carried by you.
5,
portable terminal: for the convince of the businessmen and
businesswomen who travel a lot, we have a device which is
Travelers’ Babe, very small and easy to carry.
6, Plug
and play: Maybe you have a subcompany in china, in Europe or any
other countries, so just plug the portable D-Com device, within
one minute, you will be able to make calls. No complicated
settings will be needed. But in case of dynamic IP, the plus and
play still is easy if you have a small router with you and in
case that in your country IP is static, it is real plug and
play.
